An Introductory Note

Kendra McGee is a native New Jerseyan, recently settled in San Francisco, California. She is currently a second year law student at U.C. Hastings College of the Law. Her love of everything international began at the age of 16, when she left the U.S. for Germany as a participant in A.F.S. Intercultural Programs. Kendra spent a year and half in Germany, improving her German language skills and enjoying the European lifestyle. From Germany, she was able to travel extensively through much of Europe.

When she returned to the States, she began her formal education at Seton Hall University, where she received her B.S. and M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations. At Seton Hall Kendra cultivated her interest in developing world politics and economics, with a particular focus on Africa. She continued to travel to Europe, Africa and Central America both during and after her studies at Seton Hall.

Prior to law school Kendra worked in New York City for a Fortune 500 finance company in their High-Net-Worth Division. Last summer Kendra interned at the Chief Counsel’s Office at The Department of Homeland Security – Immigration and Customs Enforcement in San Francisco.

In her free time Kendra loves to hike, golf, and spend time with Morgan and their yellow Labrador, Sammy.
